Water Cooled House in Singapore

This house was designed by Wallflower Architecture + Design. Home construction is contrary to the general hierarchy of norms in the design of the house. This brings the concept home close to nature and diversity of visual interior. The main room in the pavilion on the second floor, connected by a spiral staircase with a minimalist design. Landscape trees can be seen through a large circular void that connects the front room above the entrance to the pavilion. The ponds are located in the pavilions for inviting the birds around the house for a drink and sing. Natural atmosphere which is very rarely found on other houses. The purpose of the second storey pond is also designed to thermally insulate the dining, bedrooms and family spaces underneath from solar heat gain. In the same way, the water body above also helps to regulate temperature swings within the house.
